LAUNCH OF NEW FOOTPATH

A safer footpath route to Tilston School

Raising funds by CROWDFUNDING

Tilston Parish Council launches new project to construct a stone footpath through the field at the rear of Inveresk Road to connect to Church Road next to Tilston School.

  •  Stone construction with drainage enables use in all weathers
  • Avoids the need to cross Malpas Road twice at busiest times of the day
  • More direct route to the school for many
  • Retains all trees and hedgerows
  • Buffer strip retained at rear of properties
  • Permissive Path will allow public access at all times
  • Existing public rights of way retained
  • Reduction in car journeys to school reduces the village’s carbon footprint

The Parish Council does not have enough money to afford the estimated cost of £9,689 and so aims to raise the money for this by Crowdfunding,  supported by an application for Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Grants associated with Crowdfunding, for up to 75% of the cost.
