I have lived in the village for 24 years and have enjoyed every minute of it what a great place to live with great neighbours and friends.
The village has a great social life with many historic and social events to get involved with.
My background is I was born in Chester and lived there for many years before moving to Penyffordd from there moving to live in Tilston.
I am retired and my work background is I worked for Airbus as an aeronautical manufacturing engineer, project manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Lean Manufacturing and Problem Resolution Expert.
After retiring I worked for a number of years as a freelance Lean Manufacturing and Quality consultant/lecturer for The Air Business Academy providing training to Airbus employees in the UK, France, Spain and Germany.
My interest are walking my dog and getting out in the countryside, traveling in my motorhome in the UK and Europe, riding and rebuilding British motorcycles.

My family moved to Tilston in 2015 and we love being part of the community. I served as Chair of the Wakes committee in 2023 and joined the Parish Council in 2024.
I am a Chartered Engineer with over 35 years experience in the Chemical Industry. I have held various senior roles across the UK & Europe.
Originally from Yorkshire, I have lived in various parts of the UK before settling in Cheshire in 1993. I am married to Adrienne and we have 2 sons.
I enjoy walking, travel (especially to Cornwall), cooking and socialising with friends, tinkering with stuff, music and DIY.
Paul Roberts

I have lived in nearby Farndon for nearly 30 years and have wide experience of Local Government as a CWaC Borough Councillor, Chester City Councillor and as a Parish Councillor elsewhere.
I held various roles on Chester City Council’s cabinet and was made an honorary Alderman. I have been married to Vera for more than 50 years – we have two children and four grandchildren.
I am now retired but my business background is in multinational companies, Management Consultancy and teaching Management with the Open University.
I have a degree in Business Management and I am a qualified Accountant.
I play competitive bridge at inter-county level and I am particularly interested in local history and environmental issues.
